The Island Café garden on the water’s edge is a great place to relax with a glass of wine or a hot chocolate. Light meals, traditional Cornish pasties, a wide range of cakes, teas and coffees make the Island Café the perfect choice for a break.

The Sail Loft Restaurant offers hearty lunches, with a good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian options. The menu focuses on locally produced ingredients, including fresh seafood landed at Newlyn just across the bay. Lighter lunches, snacks and drinks are also available.
Of course, a day out in Cornwall wouldn’t be complete without an ice cream, so there are two ice cream kiosks on the island, with a great selection of flavours to choose from!
Both the Island Gift Shop and the National Trust shop offer a variety of local art, crafts and books. Whether you are looking for a present or a keepsake for yourself, we’re sure that you will find something you can’t resist.
Near the Island Café you’ll also find our plant stall, which is run by volunteers and features plants grown on the island itself. Take home a living souvenir of St Michael’s Mount!
