National Trust Members
Access to the castle is free to National Trust members.
Village
The Island Café, NT Sail Loft Restaurant, Island Shop and NT Shop are now closed for the winter season. There will be limited catering facilities available on tour days.
Dogs
There are no facilities for dogs on the island and, other than guide dogs, dogs are not allowed to enter the castle or gardens.
Very occasionally we do have to shut because of weather conditions. Please contact us on 01736 710507 or 01736 710265 to check conditions prior to your visit.
The Gardens
We are sorry that the western section of the garden is temporarily closed to the public. Some of the overhead rocks have been found to be unstable and we are currently undertaking an urgent investigation to find a solution and secure them immediately. In the meantime, there will be a price reduction of £1.00 on single garden tickets and reductions on combined garden ticket prices whilst the works are undertaken.
