Summer Opening 2013

On Friday 17 May, St Michael's Mount will be visited by HRM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh. We will be open as normal to visitors but do advise that you arrive before 11.30am and expect some delays.

OPENING

The castle will be open every day from 10.30am until 5pm, except Saturday.

SHOPS, ISLAND CAFE AND RESTAURANT

The Island and Courtyard Shops and Sail Loft restaurant and Island Cafe are free to visit, are open at the same time as the castle and are all located in the village area of the island.

Gardens 2013 Opening

The gardens are open until 27 September 2013.

National Trust Members

Access to the castle and/or gardens is free to National Trust members.

Village - Shops & Food

The village area including the shops, Island Cafe and Sail Loft Restaurant are free to visit. Within the village, the Island Shop & Courtyard Shop sell gifts, local art, Cornish produde, crafts and books. The Island Cafe serves good value lunches, cream teas, cornish pasties and home-made cakes and soups whilst the Sail Loft Restaurant has table service and serves locally caught fish specials, Cornish cheeses, Newlyn crab sandwiches as well as a range of home-made desserts and cakes.

Dogs

There are no facilities for dogs on the island and, other than guide dogs, dogs are not allowed to enter the castle or gardens.
