A Garden In A Castle

We're celebrating our garden in a unique way this month - by bringing it into the castle itself.
Through the texture and colour of plants, foliage and flowers and taking inspiration from the garden's design, A Garden in a Castle will show off the Mount's garden using the Sir John's Room, the Smoking Room, Chevy Chase and the church, as well as other areas of the castle.
Many of the unique displays are a reflection of a particular part of the garden, as well as using the difference in texture and colour of foliage to create patterns that can be enjoyed from above as well as from within the garden. This event is set to enhance your visit to the castle without compromising your enjoyment of the collection and beauty of the castle’s architecture.
To celebrate this event, we're giving you the chance to win two VIP tickets to the castle and garden and lunch in our lovely restaurant the Sail Loft, plus a selection of garden inspired stationery from our Island Shop. To be in with a chance of winning just upload your garden themed images to Twitter using #smmbeautifulgardens. Your images may come from your own garden, window box, parks, public gardens, hedgerows, anywhere. If you see something beautiful and inspiring, snap it and upload it! The competition ends midnight on 19th June and the winner will be announced by 26th June and we will be sharing your images along the way, so keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter feeds.
Good Luck and we look forward to seeing your entries.
