We’re Good To Go
To help ensure the health and wellbeing of our visitors, island residents and colleagues, all visitors must adhere to current government guidelines relating to Covid-19, and follow any other guidance provided at St Michael’s Mount.
We have implemented new safety measures across the island. These measures include:
Pre-arrival:
- Requiring all visitors to book timed tickets online, to limit the number of people on site and minimise queuing
- Adding signage and one-way systems in our carparks and on our causeway to assist visitors to respect social distancing
- Requesting contactless parking payments
In our shops, cafes and harbour village:
- Reducing capacity and amending our layout to ensure safe social distancing
- Requiring all visitors to wear face coverings in our shops as well as other enclosed spaces (exemptions apply)
- Installing hand washing stations at high touch point areas
- Creating safe queuing areas and limiting numbers in shops and cafes
- Adding Perspex screens at our payment points
- Requesting contactless payments
- Thoroughly cleaning the tables in our cafe between parties
- Collecting track and trace contact details in the café in line with NHS advice
- QR coded menus
In the castle:
- Managing numbers by creating ticket only access
- Implementing a one-way visitor route to enable social distancing
- Requiring all visitors to wear face coverings (exemptions apply)
